Description
Mission Bay Watersports is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person to help rent out water sports equipment at Mission Bay Beach in Auckland.
Being familiar and very comfortable around Kayaks and Stand up Paddle boards would be very beneficial. Full training to our Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Management plan is given.
The job includes but not limited to
- Signing people in, using our point of sales system, cross check their bookings with our manifest
- Reschedule people if weather is not safe to paddle
- Safety instruction and briefing
- Basic kayak and SUP lessons
- Making people feel comfortable and giving them tips on how to paddle more efficenctly
- Putting gear away after use
- Making sure clients are safe at all time
The ideal applicant would be vaccinated and physically fit with an adventurous spirit. We are a small fun team that enjoys education people about the Hauraki gulf Marine Park and how to be safe on the water.
Work is in the weekend hence why it is ideal for a student.
