We are producing (live) shows 7 days a week - 365 days a year out of multiple TV Studios, ranging from news to sport shows like Moto GP, Formula 1, UEFA Champions and Europa League. You are part of a team which provides and runs the technology powering all of that, playing an essential role so that our creative teams can delight our viewers with fascinating live content

- LIVE TV PRODUCTIONS
You and the team are responsible for one of the most technologically advanced TV studios existing today in Europe. This includes a newsroom automation system, video playout servers, camera robots, XR and AR systems, on air graphics system to name just a few. You’re making sure that this exciting system is running 7 days a week, so that the Red Bull Media House is able to deliver stunning live shows to our audience
- PLANNING
Good planning is essential to this job, covering demand management and requirements engineering as well as project management. You are responsible for establishing budgets and execution plans on larger investments to our current studio environment, in accordance with business stakeholders, other teams and our valuable partners. You always keep an eye on running costs to make sure that the business case is not breaking.
- RESEARCH & EVALUATION
Keeping up to date with new industry trends and standards is the key for success and the future of our environment. In this exciting role, you´ll continuously screen the market for potential new technologiesand partners, to add business value and improve our workflows. Furthermore, you’ll attend interesting conferences showing new trends in this area, which will help you to identify the most appealing solutions. Having evaluated the solutions, you’ll create POCs for showing the potential and usability within the team
- TEAM & COLLABORATION
You’ll work in an agile team that has the service ownership covering the entire lifecycle of the service - “you build it, you run it”. of delivering the services you plan together as well as to operate those services. You’ll also interact closely with other teams from other domains on broader initiatives. We believe in constant constructive feedback as a crucial ingredient for personal development of skills.

EXPERIENCE*
Your areas of knowledge and expertise*:
that matter most for this role:
- Work experience in a media production company, preferable a TV station
- Deeps understanding of (post)production systems, software and workflows
- Familiar with IT concepts
- Strongly immersed in the current culture on the pulse of current and upcoming media production and postproduction trends (ie. public cloud services in the video domain)
- Experience in budget and strategy planning to drive change and improvement
- High empathy with the capability to work with people from all cultural and social backgrounds
- Excellent stakeholder management and strong project management skills
- With your highly structured and self-sufficient way of working you enjoy excelling in a high-demanding environment
- University degree in media technology resp. equivalent IT or technology education.
- Fluent in German and English
- Travel 10%
