About Nokia IT Enterprise Applications

Nokia IT Enterprise Applications is responsible for the provision of end-to-end IT services to Business Groups and Corporate Functions, as well as leading the relationship, project and service delivery, portfolio management, technology roadmaps across multiple Business Groups and Corporate Functions. Delivery of projects and services to business counterparts and coordination across IT to facilitate delivery within their domain is also part of our job, and we are an accountable face of IT towards business (through the role of Business Partners in Business Applications).

Business Operations Manager role

The overall objective for this position is to have someone manage general operations for the Enterprise Applications organization. The role will help to ensure that the organization runs effectively and efficiently by providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness.

As a Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible to assist with defining function governance and coordinate actions to deliver function objectives. You will also be responsible for driving special projects critical to the function’s agenda including strategic initiatives, transformation projects, culture plans. You provides leadership in broad functional / process areas to solve complex and diverse issues. You manage the organizations communication tools and data storage strategy. as well as participate to define the capability development framework and manages capability and competence development initiatives.

Your skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of business management experience for an organization of approximately 1000 associates
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience in working with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
  • Experience with DMS (Document Management Systems)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products, i.e. MS Project, O365, Azure, Power BI, etc.
