WHO YOU ARE

  • You drive sales across all touchpoints via steering, optimization, pricing and services to enable for extraordinary growth.
  • You set direction, create strategic and operational goals while following up on KPIs in a complex and multi-channel customer environment.
  • You identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of IKEA products and services in all channels to optimise the customer experience through digital channels.
  • You have the ability to coach and influence a team of co-workers and colleagues while communicating in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice.
  • You have formal qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or specific IKEA relevant training with a minimum 10 years of working in Selling.
  • You have a minimum 10 years of experience in leading and managing leaders and teams within different disciplines within the Selling function.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing resources (people and money).
  • Responsible for people planning within Selling. Manage Sales prioritization and forecasting, Pricing and Margin mix development.
  • Ensure operational cost efficiency and effectiveness to secure Sales results and Profitability.
  • Develop functional budget, ensure approval, forecasting, follow up and coordination with Commercial Manager to secure country goals and functional goals are covered.
  • Act as a member of the Commercial Management Team and proactively contribute to IKEA business plan, commercial plan and commercial calendar process.
  • Accountable for profit optimization through the pricing of our products and commercial services.
  • Develop a strategic perspective on the offer to partner with Range & Supply, CFO/Risk & Compliance, CFF etc. to develop the home furnishing business, secure product quality and compliance, and secure optimal forecasting to maximize customer conversion.
  • Ensure solutions in all touch points are commercially viable and relevant, connecting collaborating with HF&RD (Home Furnishing & Retail Design), Digital, Customer Experience and Marketing to secure the best result.
  • Contribute with coaching for all touch points to maximize conversion in all channels.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing Selling team that will strongly contribute to reach the common objectives and goals (e.g. growth, profitability, brand positioning, customer experience).
  • Actively foster the interdependent leadership and active cooperation across all functions and units, within and outside Commercial, to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact (for example Expansion, Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability, BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture).
  • Secure the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function in order to contribute to the business goals.
  • Measure performance of output in all areas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and ensure performance excellence throughout the year.
  • Take the lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered.
  • Be the leader of the transformation of the Selling function in the country.
