IKEA Älmhult AB, together with IKEA Museum, IKEA Hotell, IKEA Property AB and in collaborations with many others, is leading this assignment and the Work Live Visit programme to secure the development of Älmhult as an attractive and great place where I want to work, live and visit, today and tomorrow. The long-term plan within the Work Live Visit programme currently consists of four development areas, Society relations, Health & Wellbeing, Overview plan and Destination IKEA in Älmhult.
Job description
The ambition with the area of Health & Wellbeing is for IKEA to be a partner who strongly believes in and cares about people’s health and wellbeing in all dimensions, a partner who enables, inspires, and empowers individuals to make healthy choices, a partner who supports the community. The Development Leader is overall responsible for the deliveries within this focus area, connected to IKEA in Älmhult. With strong knowledge of and passion for health you can take a holistic and strategic view on how the area can strengthen IKEA and Älmhult as great place to work at, live in and visit - today and tomorrow. As Development Leader, you are in the driving seat for the area, leading and developing the area both mid and long-term, and securing actions short-term. The Development Leader will also be leading and executing projects and activities within the plan. The role is responsible to secure an effective way of working for its development area core team, engage relevant contributors throughout IKEA and establish strong relations with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. In this assignment you will work very close with Aktivitetshuset, the main platform and arena for the offer within health & wellbeing.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible to lead the Health & Wellbeing development area.
  • Lead the development of the Health & Wellbeing plan for IKEA in Älmhult including defining key actions and activities as well as securing deliveries within set time frame
  • Lead relevant projects and execute activities within the scope of the development area
  • Lead and coach contributing core team members in the development and execution of the plan
  • Part of and contributing to the development leader forum
  • Find improvement areas in ways of working
    Qualification
    We are looking for you who are experienced, curious, and motivated to lead business and people together in the context of health and wellbeing. You also have proven skills, relevant education and/or years of experience within developing business including leading projects on a strategical level.
    Relevant qualifications:

  • You are competent to create structure, plan and prioritize detailed assignments and deliver with high quality.

  • You have the knowledge and ability to project lead and coach project members by setting expectations and providing clear direction, setting clear objectives and steering all involved people towards achieving results.
  • You are experienced working in processes with clear deadlines and have good time-management skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding results in leading and developing both business and people. You believe in people and their ability to do a great job, their potential to perform, learn and grow.
