The mission of the Marketing & Sales function is to maximize value creation for Solvay by delivering high level market and sales expertise. Its aim is to spread best practices and to map out growth opportunities and the best ways to leverage them throughout Solvay, in line with the GBU's needs.

The Customer Engagement Model (CEM) Team is part of the Transformation Center and have the following key objectives: Supports Solvay's Global Business Units (GBUs) as an internal advisory team.

This includes:

  • Growing Solvay’s market shares by finding new opportunities and selecting the most promising battles;
  • Accelerating value capture through go-to-market strategies, Key Account management, Pricing strategy and management, business innovation
  • Leveraging digital on customer centric approach and on projects co-executed with other excellence teams.
  • Develops and gives training together with its multinational coworkers to raise marketing & sales capabilities and skills across the group.
  • Harvests and maintains premium understanding of the markets: trends, needs,

As part of the CEM Team, you will:

  • Provide support to Customer Engagement Models programs run in GBUs:

  • Perform quantitative analyses (market dynamics, pricing,), literature research (competition, products,) and synthesize information;

  • Help formalizing documents;
  • Animate workshops and team discussions
  • Work with internal Excellence Center teams, consulting firms and GBUs stakeholders.
  • Support internal team activities (knowledge management,).

Education and Experience:

  • Be enrolled in a Master degree as Business Administration, Marketing, Applied Economics, Commercial Engineer, Civil Engineer, Bio-Engineer

Skills:

  • Be a highly motivated and fast-learning team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude who shows initiative, flexibility, determination and professionalism;
  • Have strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written. French is a plus;
  • Have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including problem structuring and synthesis;
  • Have demonstrated a strong ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural and international environment (through past internships and/or experiences abroad);
  • Advanced mastering of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
