Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up closely internal developments in the own perimeter (strategy, business model, financial structures, KPIs, etc) and relevant political, economic and market evolutions
  • Maintain updated knowledge of the concepts, content and tools of the financial databases
  • Provide the GBU Controller with information from its own perimeter relevant for the preparation of the budget, the rolling forecast and the ABC ranking (mainly fixed cost, possibly variable cost, capex, inventories and other performance KPIs)
  • Validate all financial and non-financial data, available in ERP, to control and analyze the performance against scorecard
  • Validate/follow excellence savings and non-quality costs
  • Ensure the reliability of cost accounting key figures and/or P/L reporting
  • Prepare periodic management reports, including analyses, comments and recommendations
  • Define, with the Production Manager(s), the product costing
  • Analyze costs, variances on yields and consumptions
  • Valuate inventories (inventory slow turn reserves)
  • Collect local business information to submit accruals when materil,
  • Provide site data, reports & advice to the GBU Finance team
  • Coordinate cash review related to site forecasts
  • Provide insurances values for his perimeter
  • Validate/follow from a financial standpoint specific contracts & incentives (GIE, EEG, White Certificate, COGEN, Reach,...)

Education and Experience:
Experience

  • 5+ years, in industry context
  • Knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, Anaplan is a plus
  • Previous controlling experience (preferably site manufacturing )
  • Working knowledge of Accounting

  • Bachelor or Master in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering
  • Fluent English
