For its AEROSPACE division, is looking for a:
MECHANICAL ANALYST

The Mechanical Analyst will work on spacecraft design and verification as part of company client’s Thermo-Mechanical Engineering Team.

He/she will cooperate with the Thermo-Mechanical architect for the entire lifecycle of the assigned project by developing satellite Finite Elements Models and performing analysis to assess the compliance to the project’s requirements. The activity will cover all the mission phases, from preliminary design up to the satellite integration on board the Launch Vehicle.

The Mechanical Analyst will also support the AIT team during the test preparation and execution phases by providing test predictions and collecting test results for the numerical correlation of the developed models.

The Mechanical Analyst shall:

  • Develop satellite FE models
  • Perform numerical analysis in accordance with the projects’ requirements
  • Provide feedback for the spacecraft design improvement
  • Interact with suppliers for the implementation of the needed technological solutions (materials, manufacturing techniques,)
  • Support the Thermo-Mechanical Architect for the preparation of procurement and test specification
  • Support the AIT department for the preparation of mechanical tests setup and procedures
  • Support the AIT department during the execution of mechanical tests
  • Perform numerical correlation of developed FE models
  • Prepare the documentation to report performed analysis and results
  • Work in accordance with the Thermo-Mechanical Engineering standards and tools.
  • Based in Bari Area

Requisiti:
The following skills are required (but not limited to):

  • Aerospace Engineering (5y+) Master Degree
  • 7+ years or professional experience, preferably in the Aerospace industry
  • Good knowledge of FEMAP/NASTRAN simulation environment
  • Basic knowledge of Catia V5 tool
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter PLM tool (optional)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)
  • Good knowledge of English (B1 or higher)
