The Position
In providing tailored solutions to the individual needs of our clients, Mazars tax examine and offer a comprehensive range of tax services to national and international clients with a particular emphasis on helping them to structure their businesses and financial affairs tax efficiently.

Mazars has one of the largest teams of tax specialists in Ireland and provides a full range of tax services to small and medium sized enterprises, private and publicly quoted companies and individuals. Our approach entails coming forward with ideas and solutions that bring added value to clients, based on a comprehensive understanding of each client’s particular business. We are part of the International Mazars organisation, Europe’s largest independent firm of accountants and advisors, and as such are ideally placed to provide advice on cross border transactions and international tax issues

Responsibilities
The individual will be trained and developed in the areas of tax compliance and consultancy for internationally mobile employees in the following areas;

  • Preparing tax returns for inbound and outbound employees
  • Advising on residence and domicile for tax purposes
  • Advising on social security matters
  • Engaging and liaising with the Revenue Commissioners on behalf of clients.
  • Advising clients on the planning implications of international assignments
  • Liaising closely with internationally mobile employees and their employers
  • Advising multinational companies on employer compliance obligations in relation to shadow payrolls, share-based remuneration and related matters.
    Advising clients on all aspects of employment taxation - tax efficient remuneration, share based remunerations, benefits in kind to employees, severance payments etc.

Principal Requirements

  • Graduate looking to pursue a career in tax
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strive to continually improve and deliver quality.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team of professionals.
