We are currently looking to strengthen our Client team with a Project Manager (M/F) for the region of Linda-a-Velha, Oeiras (Lisbon).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the preliminary activities with the project Sponsor to gather sufficient information on the business requirement: From the initial to the detailed cost / benefits business case submission to enable a decision to approve or reject.
Defining a Project: Manage structuring phase to enable the organization to size and qualify the required work packages to deliver value associated with the Business Case. Bring transparency on the business case underlying business requirements, assumptions and risk plan, leading to the Project Charter and implementation planning.
Manage the Project governance: Ensure the day to day management of the Project through assignment of project work, mobilization of required resources, monitoring and reporting on key dimensions: work packages completion, risks / opportunities / issues and related mitigation plans. Manage delivery with the Project sponsors expectations and tolerances. Ensures quality assurance standards are applied. Manage timely decision process.
Closing a Project: Ensures the Project output has been delivered and reviews whether the objectives and Business Case assumptions been achieved. Captures Lessons Learnt.
Leading a Project Team: Coach, support, energize and engage the Project Team. Ensure roles and responsibilities are communicated with regular feedback on performance
IDEAL PROFILE:
- Minimum 5 years experience in leading teams and projects including budget and personnel responsibilities
- Leadership skills and track record in developing people
- Managing cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of
- cultures in the most effective way
- Experience in managing Business Transformations
Operating in a Matrix Organization and leveraging influencing skills
