Process Controller

Starts and Shutdown of (ANS OR CBEP OR STORAGE) plants

• Diagnoses plant operational quality problems and take corrective action
• Performs Nitric Acid sample analytical tests
• Liaise with internal customers, Laboratory personnel, Maintenance personnel and Senior Management
• Responsible for identifying unnecessary expenditure on (ANS OR CBEP OR STORAGE) plants
• Responsible for dispatching product of the right quality and quantity
• Monitors and controls the effluent system
• Responsible for good housekeeping
• Responsible for identifying and reporting maintenance problems on (ANS OR CBEP OR STORAGE) plants
• Ensure that process parameters are maintained within a specified range as per standard operating procedure
• Prepare and test raw materials
• Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
  Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
  Duties & Responsibilities
• Grade 12 with Chemical Operator NQF level 4 or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Three years chemical work environment experience
• Basic computer skills
• Basic supervisory and coaching skills
• Essential competencies such as self-confidence, Self-development attitude, Critical-information seeking ability and the ability to learn
  Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12 with Chemical Operator NQF level 4 or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Three years chemical work environment experience.
