Starts and Shutdown of (ANS OR CBEP OR STORAGE) plants
- Diagnoses plant operational quality problems and take corrective action
- Performs Nitric Acid sample analytical tests
- Liaise with internal customers, Laboratory personnel, Maintenance personnel and Senior Management
- Responsible for identifying unnecessary expenditure on (ANS OR CBEP OR STORAGE) plants
- Responsible for dispatching product of the right quality and quantity
- Monitors and controls the effluent system
- Responsible for good housekeeping
- Responsible for identifying and reporting maintenance problems on (ANS OR CBEP OR STORAGE) plants
- Ensure that process parameters are maintained within a specified range as per standard operating procedure
- Prepare and test raw materials
- Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
Duties & Responsibilities - Grade 12 with Chemical Operator NQF level 4 or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Three years chemical work environment experience
- Basic computer skills
- Basic supervisory and coaching skills
- Essential competencies such as self-confidence, Self-development attitude, Critical-information seeking ability and the ability to learn
