LISBON
Our Lisbon office is located in Portugal's cosmopolitan capital. Mostly the teams here are focused around Technology and Store of the Future. In this office, Farfetchers like to have catch ups in the ball pit or creative moments by the grand piano!
THE ROLE
To be part of an exciting business unit at Farfetch focused on harnessing the power of the Farfetch Platform to enable global omnichannel e-Commerce for High Luxury Fashion, managing a team of Tech Delivery Managers coordinating the development and delivery of high-quality e-commerce projects for our Brands. You'll report to the Head of Delivery Management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Coordinate a team of Tech Delivery Managers implementing eCommerce projects
- Work with our clients and internal cross-functional team leads to support the implementation and transition to the Farfetch eCommerce Platform Solutions
- Ensure the tech programme planning coherence, execution, and delivery with quality, on the planned time and cost
- Manage change, analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks and issues
- Communicate with stakeholders to perform project status updates. Engage with High Luxury Brands, to provide a clear and articulated description of the current project status, risk and concerns
- Prepare and participate in Projects Steering Committee Meetings
- Ensure customer satisfaction within project execution and rollout
- Develop and assist Tech Delivery Managers in their role. Build processes to ensure delivery management across the team
- Provide operational and strategic support to all stakeholders
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree in Information Systems or related field
- Specific training in Project Management and experience with Agile
- Experience in tech leadership roles, including programme/project management experience in eCommerce or large web projects
- Experience in client-facing
- Knowledge and practical experience of change management principles
- Have collaboration and team-building skills, with the ability to lead by influence
- A motivator, able to instill an upward trajectory of success
- Fluency in English, with the capability to communicate and to discuss ideas at all levels in the organisation
- Stakeholder management practitioner, with the ability to easily build relationships with the different players of the business, at different functional areas and levels of the organisation (from C-Level to Analyst)
- Consolidated experience working in large scale organisations on a multi-national level with multicultural teams
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts. Knowledge of Web and Mobile development, Accessibility, Performance, SEO, and Web tracking methodologies is a plus
