Learning Experience Designer

While Dell Technologies drives human progress through ground breaking technology, the Learning and Development team within Human Resources drives the development of our people. We need everyone to be at the top of their game, so we design, prepare and deliver training and development programs for our managers and team members to achieve this.

We deliver and evaluate a wide range of programs, from new employee orientation and performance management to leadership development. We also help to shape learning priorities within Dell and work consultatively with other HR professionals to share knowledge and implement organizational development programs.

What you’ll achieve

You will leverage your LXD expertise to design and deploy high quality learning experiences that cultivate inspirational and impactful leaders across Dell Technologies. Collaborate with a team of creatives, gamers, innovators, instructional designers, CX, UX & UI experts, Leadership SMEs, business leaders and the industry's most leading edge learning vendors. Be fueled by experiential and immersive corporate learning environments and have an appetite to continue growing your mindset, skillset and toolset. You will be a key driver of how we cultivate inspiring leaders at Dell Technologies.

You will:

  • Drive leading edge learning experiences to enhance and develop transferable skills for a global audience, resulting in positive behavioral shifts aligned with company strategy and industry trends.
    Own, manage, deliver, and report out each phase of the learning design lifecycle.
  • Implement experiential learning principles and a “workshop mindset” to design transformative multi-modal opportunities for learning (i.e., classroom experiences, micro-learning, AR/VR, action-based and experiential learning, escape rooms, simulations, hackathons, podcasts, etc.)
  • Build measurable outcomes, assess learner’s performance, and evaluate data for success and improvement areas.
  • Manage multiple initiatives independently and collaborate on a team of Designers, Developers, Program Managers, and Project managers with the goal of winning together

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in adult learning theory and instructional design strategies
  • Expert in development of learning experiences with virtual learning tools, such as (Storyline, After Effects, Premiere, SharePoint, and LXP)
    Customer-centric / human-centered design approach
  • Exemplary writing skills in the English language
  • Passion for learning
  • Data analysis, critical thinking, learning innovation
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
  • Works autonomously while seeking input and opportunities to collaborate
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to solve and simplify complex problems

Desirable Requirements

  • VR / AR development experience
  • Experience with vendor relationships
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Change management and marketing strategy experience
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion
