Our growth implies an increasing political role and social responsibility, and this is why we are looking for someone to represent Glovo in Italy's political, social, and institutional ecosystem.
In this role you join leadership team for Glovo, working closely with our Head of Public Policy local and global teams to design and implement our public affairs strategy in Italy.
Be a part of a team where you will:
- Support the non-market strategy of Glovo in Italy, with a focus on local initiatives and local stakeholders.
- Work across Glovo with different teams (Marketing, Legal, Operations, People, etc.) to identify the policy relevance of their strategies and needs, taking action accordingly.
- Be responsible for project management and internal reporting connecting italian Public Affair team to the global one.
- Assistance to Head of PA for the organization of meetings/local initiatives and preparation of materials, in collaboration with the external agency.
- Manage local stakeholder engagement projects and advocacy events as workshop, campaign, roundtable, etc.
You have:
- At least 1-3 years experience working in public policy and government affairs.
- An overwhelming passion for tech and the digital economy. Previous work experience in a complex or high-demanding environment is a plus, as well as experience with public institutions and local government.
- Excellent skills in project management and a tracked record of local advocacy campaigning.
- Superior understanding of the social, economic and political context in areas affecting the business and policy goals of Glovo.
- The attitude of a self-starter, the versatility of a chameleon, the vision of a day-dreamer, and the pragmatism of someone who knows that the world can be changed only KPI after KPI.
- Fluency in Italian and advanced level of English.
