FUNCTIONS

Given the complexity of acquiring and managing buildings, developments and sites, our client act as a local partner for capital looking to get into the right real estate projects. They provide the full asset management package to real estate investors, from setup of vehicles to hold the assets, through development process, tenant management and successful exit. They are based in Barcelona & Madrid and operate nationally in all sectors, with special focus currently on the office and residential markets. They currently has projects with clients ranging from family office investors to international funds. MISSION "To deliver the next generation of office buildings - spaces that people want to be in and where expectations are exceeded.” FUNCTIONS • Leading and coordinating the communication with investors. • Management of the internal and technical teams and other consultants, promoting innovation and collaborative working • Resolving day to day issues in the management of the asset in all phases of the business plan, including operation, construction and exit • Opex and Capex management and cost control, including change orders, cost deviations or project modifications • Liaising with commercial and letting agents on a regular basis. • Negotiations with tenants • Ongoing management of the assets to include contracting facilities and/or property managers, overseeing service charge and rent issues • Overseeing and reporting on cost and risk management issues • Monitoring financial KPIs, cashflow and management of finance drawdowns REQUIREMENTS • Degree in relevant subject, including real estate, economics, business or finance • High level of english and spanish • Excel – to an advanced level, Word and Powerpoint. PowerBI desirable. • 5+ years experience in RE Asset Management, including development. • First hand experience in investor relationship management. • Experience in managing external and external teams • Experience in property management desirable • A fundamental understanding of economics, real estate and financial markets • A genuine interest in the field of real estate investing and development • Aware of the environmental and social issues of society and their implication in real estate • Capable of maintaining a team motivated, focused and organised • Skilled communicator and negotiator • Able to foster a culture with a high level of attention to detail • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Interest and willingness to expand market knowledge to different geographies and/or areas of service.
