Role Overview
Position overview:
- Lead and support techno transfer, toll manufacturing and new product industrialization
- Bring in new technological platforms upon surfactant, polymer and special formulation
- Collaborate with various stakeholder (e.g. procurement, R&I and plant) for key raw material sourcing, qualification and approval
- Develop more competitive and sustainable industrial processes
- Cooperate with strategic partners to enhance regional production capacity and flexibility
Performance objectives:
- Safety and environment compliance
- Success rate of techno transfer and product launch
- Plant support and NPI management
- QA/QC assurance and troubleshooting within the timeline
- A regional role to support and strengthen O&G Asia Pacific industrial footprint
- Exposure to global R&I, technology, commercial and industrial functions
- Participate into renewable and sustainable solution development for O&G industry
- Professional and personal growth together with regional business evolution
Qualifications and requirements:
- M.Sc or Ph.D in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
Desired skills:
- Expertise at process design, pilot scale-up and plant industrialization will be highly desired
- Solid analytical techniques and characterization capabilities
