To grow E-Commerce team in Barcelona, we are currently looking for a
Global eCommerce Merchandizing Coordinator.

Main Purpose of Job:
The Global eCommerce Merchandizing Coordinator is responsible to plan and deliver both technical & commercial guidance to drive operations of the eCommerce B2C& B2B channels (Website & Mobile) for a geographical region of Nespresso Markets (AMS, EU, AOA), by:

  • Support coordination, execution & evolution of global & local campaign operations, providing project support to ensure adherence & optimization of global standards and monitoring the quality & timely execution of digital content by markets.
  • Support business& cross-functional teams to leverage ecommerce technologies by raising awareness on tools & features to deliver a consistently best-in-class experience across all digital touch points
  • Pilot the integration of new ecommerce features and platforms as ecommerce champions, ensuring back office/operational requirements are accounted for and documented for future implementation in the global ecommerce community.
  • Ensuring eCommerce Boutiques deliver the best-in-class user experience to prospects and Nespresso members as knowledge & matter experts, providing guidance & recommendations to markets to deliver a seamless & consistent customer experience across all digital touch points at global scale.

*Your responsibilities will be:
Coordinate global ecommerce operations (drive sales):

  • Support global eCommerce operations and campaigns (set-up, test and activate) including support of seasonal campaigns & optimization of permanent website content to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Monitor ecommerce performance to ensure optimal market operations & platform management.
  • Oversee digital asset management & complex HTML content to support global & local campaign activities while ensuring B2B & B2C websites are leveraging the most relevant practices, content & features.
  • Liaise with all business & IT stakeholders to ensure all digital content is up-to-date, relevant and compliant with global brand, security, content & commercial guidelines.

Optimize the user experience (drive conversion):

  • Coordinate with different digital stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience and optimized purchasing funnel across all platforms.
  • Plan & oversee the global implementation of eMerchandising activities in collaboration with Performance & cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure a best-in-class B2C & B2B customer experience & performance through the assessment and optimization of eCommerce channels (mobile & desktop) in the fields of search, eMerchandizing, catalog management, personalization, brand content, services & compliancy.

Govern the day-to-day operations (drive business continuity):

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with IS/IT stakeholders, ensuring business critical systems and processes remain operational and bug free.
  • Ensure prioritization of platform regression, championing needs of markets where necessary.
  • Support incident management for any major issue (global/local) affecting conversion rate, new member’s activation or availability of the products or the platforms.

Key experiences:

  • Relevant degree with strong Web knowledge and experience
  • Strong organizational or project management skills in an international commercial environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital & ecommerce activities, including Content Management Systems, Personalization & Targeting, eMerchandizing, product lifecycle management
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript, experience across multiple CMS
  • Advanced knowledge of digital media management & optimization
  • Deliver web-ready marketing materials based on predefined specifications & creatives
  • Accuracy, reliability & vigilant attention to detail
  • At ease with IT Technologies & architecture
  • Proven track record in delivering end to end-user experiences in a digital context
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Accuracy and reliability
  • Project-oriented and Innovation minded
  • English (fluent)
  • Understanding of Google Analytics is necessary.
