Your work-life opportunity:
In the context of "giving users easy access to anything in their city", Q-commerce (Quick Commerce) is the business unit that aims to provide immediacy to all product needs that a user might have, from delivering a video game to sending a gift... to filling up their fridge. We do that through 2 verticals: Groceries and Shops and Pharma. The team is based in Madrid.
We are looking for a Category Lead to join the Q-Commerce team. As a Q-Commerce Category Lead you will
be responsible for *providing fast and proactive data-driven insights about KPIs that can be acted upon, in order to support the strategy of the department. You will be as well responsible
* of a team in charge of delivering an amazing shopping experience by categorizing & sorting both Groceries and Retail products based on partners and user needs. You will also work closely with our partners and brands services team, in order to help them grow.
Be a part of a team where you will:
- Understand main business and operational OKRs of Q-Commerce
- Analyze data to identify and quantify sustainable improvement opportunities as an advantage for the company
- Drive and execute projects end-to-end, from analysis to strategy implementation
- Lead conversion initiatives for brands and partners in our marketplace: planning and executing promotional activities and improving customer journey at Glovo
- Develop, implement, and track processes to guarantee team efficacy and strategy execution.
- Understand business needs and liaise with internal stakeholders (growth, operations, finance) to create insightful analyses to make the right decisions;- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
You have:
- 6+ years of professional experience in fast paced and data driven environments as management consultancy, banking, tech, etc.
- At least 2 years of leading 3+ people teams.
- Strong business acumen and passion for end-to-end project management (from ideation and analysis into implementation).
- Good Analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, Powerpoint / Slides
- Hands-on attitude is a must. You'll have to roll up your sleeves!
- Advance English level, both written and spoken- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
