Credit Controller - Scania Financial Services

15 Month Fixed Term Contract

Scania Financial Services are looking for a motivated individual to fulfil the exciting position as Credit Controller. Working within the Credit Control team, this role provides a variety of tasks & will engage the position holder within the vibrant credit control environment. The Credit Control team achieve high levels of efficiency, with attention to detail & perseverance being key. A strong ability in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage arrears customers up to termination stage in a timely manner in accordance with current policy and guidelines
  • To manage amendments / cancellation of all direct debit mandates
  • To manage the rental portfolio workflow & any arrears.
  • To manage all customer payment enquiries
  • To maintain close daily contact with the Credit Control Manager, Relationship Managers & Sales Support.
  • To Manage Insurance claims
  • To carry out Novation’s & endorsements
  • Reschedules to live contracts in accordance with current procedures
  • To action customer refunds when requested
  • Monthly R&M Payment files to SGB and Independent dealers.
  • To provide cover within the department
  • To update Credit Control procedures when appropriate
  • To arrange repossession of vehicles as required and manage the process.
  • To support the Credit Control Manager as required.
  • Work closely with internal department and dealerships to ensure processes and procedures are working efficiently
  • Working efficiently with the Scania way & Core values.
  • Management of legal cases liaising with legal representation
  • Month end reporting
  • Process Improvement & Testing

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to prioritise work & meet deadlines.
