We seek experienced Geomembrane Technicians - Installers for multiple positions based in Perth and Brisbane to work on projects across Western Australia and Queensland. What is included:
- Construction white card course included.
- Pay scale - Technician Level - 3 - 5yrs experience. $ 70,000 per year plus overtime
What you'll be doing:
- Installation of geomembrane liners.
- Perform geomembrane welding unsupervised. Using products such as HDPE, LLDPE and BGM.
- Ensure wedge welding equipment is maintained and serviced. Test integrity of all plastic welds and ensure all welds meet the minimum requirements.
- Perform quality geomembrane welds that meet quality standards and expectations.
- Ensure correct methodology is used to fabricate geomembrane materials in the most practical and time efficient way.
- Deployment of materials.
- 1 - 4 week working away roster - various locations in Australia.
- 8 -12 hr shifts
- Accommodation and meal allowance provided whilst working away.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience working as a Geomembrane Technician
- Ability to perform quality welding and construction techniques.
- IAGI or TWI certification highly desirable. (Telehandler ticket desirable but not essential.)
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Be a recognised team player and have the ability to work in a team-based environment.
- White Card or equivalent.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Commitment and a good attitude towards safety and culture.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to grow and develop within a dynamic, changing environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
