JOB DESCRIPTION:
The TravelTech industry is fast-paced and ever-changing, and as global leaders in the B2B space, Hotelbeds are committed to connecting and empowering businesses by facilitating bridges in the expanding travel ecosystem. Our unique blend of technology, data and passionate people serves as a catalyst for travel buyers and providers aiming to unlock their full potential and, as part of the growth of the our Brand, Content and Creative team, we are looking for a Content Manager to communicate these aims to a worldwide network of hoteliers.

Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, you will:

  • Work alongside the Digital Acquisition team to develop a content strategy for the acquisition and retention of potential hotelier partners, receiving support from the Senior Content Manager, regional teams and sourcing community
  • Ideate, develop and agree a global editorial content calendar with support from the Senior Content Manager, taking into account the requirements of regional teams and wider business aims
  • Translate data (as provided by the Sales and Data teams) into consumable content, such as case studies or evidence-based reports designed to encourage the onboarding of new hotelier partners
  • Remain abreast of changes in the travel industry, using learnings to create timely, topical content and to inspire input ahead of presentations at conferences
  • Work alongside the Creative team to develop content in the appropriate brand style
  • Liaise with the PR/Corporate Communications team to ensure alignment with media publications on the Hotelbeds website and external PR
  • Collaborate with the Social Media team to distribute content across social media channels and other relevant forums
  • Offer support to the wider Content team, including (but not limited to) the creation of content for tour operators and retail agents

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent grasp of English language
  • Content writing background
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Keen understanding of white papers, with an ability to consolidate data into clear, comprehensible copy

PREFERRED:

  • Professional travel industry background
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and/or use of CMS
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • Experience of working in multi-national company or with international audiences/stakeholders
  • Degree in Journalism, Marketing, English Literature/Language or relevant field(s) advantageous
