Main Purpose of the Role
Partners with business leaders, managers and employees to advise and manage all aspects of the employee cycle, from onboarding to employee issues to leaving. Typically works with an HRBP or Functional leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner: Proactively partnering with business units and countries to drive and deliver operational excellence in our existing and future core HR processes and services e.g.
  • Performance Management Framework and Cycle
  • Employee Engagement
  • Reward: Annual Compensation Review, Recognition
  • Service Delivery: Administering and recommending improvements to HR and/or recruitment core processes, services and systems through the employee life cycle (hire to retire) using core HR systems
  • Advisor: Proactive case management and resolving employee and manager questions/issues drawing on policy and experience
  • Reporting: producing data, statistics and management information
  • Responsible for administrative support to all HR-related activities, ensuring data quality and compliance.
  • Manage the pre-boarding and onboarding process, working together with related teams (recruitment and IT).
  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
  • Working with other HR global colleagues to develop and help create future-oriented and sustainable human resources policies to meet the organization's current and future anticipated needs.
  • Collaborate with the functional experts in sourcing, OD and Reward in order to build effective attraction, retention and reward plans across the site in Portugal that are reflective of both global principles and local requirements.
  • To build the local capability of the excellent HR team.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in an HR Generalist job role area.
  • Confident administration and technical skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint at a good level
  • The role requires very strong attention to detail while updating and managing data across systems, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Bags of energy; flexible approach; ability to 'get stuck in’; ability to follow processes; able to multi-task at all times; challenge back when needed and prioritise your work.

  • English fluent language skills.
