Description
Our Automotive Seats Activity is looking for a work-study “Acquisition Buyer Apprentice” (M/F) for it will be located in Sao Joao da Madeira, Aveiro, Portugal.
- Use and improvement of costing methods and cost models
- Work in a multidisciplinary team (R&D, sales, control, manufacturing, quality)
- Participate in “design to cost”
- Negotiations with suppliers,
- Monthly purchasing reporting
To achieve this, the missions entrusted to the work-study student will be as follows:
- Represent purchases within the acquisition teams
- Provide component costings via cost models
- Consult expert suppliers
- Ensure transmission to program and commodity purchases
- Management of reporting / price analysis / improvement of cost models
- Participation in weekly meetings.
The alternation will begin as soon as possible for an ideal duration of 1 to 2 years
- Preparation of a MASTER purchase
- Behavioral Skills:
Rigorous, with a good spirit of analysis and synthesis
Curious and autonomous, is able to take initiatives
- Good oral and written command of English and Portuguese, other language is a plus
- Ability to work and communicate in an international environment
- Ability to work in a team, to establish a good relationship
- Ability to negotiate
- Mastery of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint ), SAP is a plus
- Some travel is expected
