Technical Team Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Technical Team Lead for our Network Operations Centre. This role and the team will be located in Lisbon (hybrid & flexible work model). You will be responsible for leading and mentoring the team and transform their working habits and skillset towards a DevOps framework. Your goal is to upskill our network operations centre, with people and toolsets that can transform our current ways of working into automation of alarm handling and reduce manual actions for recurring system activities.

What you will do:

• Lead and develop a young team with technical backgrounds towards automation practices;
• Manage capacity planning for a team running 24x7 shifts;
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure a quick and effective response to warnings and critical events;
• Improve our processes in handling event management;
• Identify and implement improvements of team activities;

• Design improvements through scripting, rpa and software that increase efficiency.

  What you will bring:

• 5+ years of experience in automating procedures and operational overhead;

• Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams;
• Experience with of software development best practices, including coding standards, version control, and automated testing;
• Prior experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure;
• Strong abilities in communication and trainning;
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
