FORVIA’s VIE Program?

The VIE Program of FORVIA is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

PLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.

Your position and environment?

Our FORVIA Seating Business Group - Seating Systems Europe Division is looking for you as a VIE Finance Program Controller m/w for our plant in Saint Joao de Madeira, Portugal, delivering seats to customers (Stellantis, RSA, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Porsche, Lamborghini)

Your role and responsibilities?

Your main missions will be to

ensures the data reliability in line with process and finance program golden rules, and the optimization of the programs' profitability and cash. The main missions of the role are to:

  • Contribute to program financial communication towards core team, management and plants involved
  • Ensure Compliance conditions are deployed and aligned with Legal, Contractual, Tax and Internal Control conditions
  • Contribute to Program Cash status
  • Contribute and secure R&D and Program team controlling inputs for actual and forecast
  • Support selected profitability improvement actions to achieve Gate #4
  • Monitor gradually business plan cost data source to plants on a periodic basis
  • Contribute reconciliation and alignment between Financial reporting (accounting / ERP) and Management reporting per semester before hard close and Gate (Business Plan)

The mission will last 12 to 24 months.

Who are you?

  • Interested to work in a dynamic and international environment
  • Master’s degree/Engineering diploma in Finance / Economy
  • First experience in controlling, preferably in R&D and/or industrial environment
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Business minded and strong teamwork sense
  • SAP and Advanced Excel Level
