Description
A leading National Retailer requires the services of a maintenance / driver at its warehouse in Westmead, Pinetown.
Minimum Requirements
The duties of the Maintenance / Driver is responsible but not limited to the following:
- Light replacement in stores also being able to disconnect existing lights and reinstall new fittings where required.
- Repairs to drywalls where required
- Know how of painting in order to inspect the painters work once completed
- Repairs to taps (ie, simple washer replacement only ) not extensive knowledge and Knowledge of how to replace broken tiles where required.
- Knowledge of shopfitting repairs
- Knowledge of all tools and other equipment (taking responsibility of tools and equiment)
- General driving responsibilities, ie collection of materials from suppliers.
- The required person must be able to be a team leader when going on the road to sort out maintenance, there would be times that we would work late hours as well.
- There would be other adhoc responsibilities where required.
- A valid Code 14 drivers licence.
- Experience as a driver for at least 3 years.
- Knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas.
- Experience in a retail environment will be an added advantage.
- Able to drive a 4ton and 8ton Truck
