About The Company:
Our client is a well-established, mid-sized business wholesale business that import products from all around the world. They have a strong focus on the quality of their products and are dedicated to providing excellent customer service to their customers across Australia and New Zealand.
About The Opportunity:
Some of your main areas of responsibility will include:
- Procurement management
- Supplier relationship communications
- Incoming freight and logistics coordination
- Working as part of the leadership and wider business teams
About You:
- Previous experience in a Procurement or Purchasing role
- Industry and supply chain management knowledge - imports/international
- Qualifications in Business Administration or related field (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Mid/Expert level Excel Skills and working knowledge of inventory management software (ERP)
You will also have:
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstration of high-level stakeholder management
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- The ability to think strategically and to contribute to the business direction
