Description
Oversee the implementation of all site safety and ensure all procedures are monitored according to the Project Safety Management Plan
- Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each other.
- Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all cases.
- Working individually or in a team.
- Working alongside the trades and on the tools.
- Ensuring projects are completed as accurately and efficiently as possible.
- Supervision of onsite employees to ensure all tasks are completed in a safe, ethical, prompt and high-quality manner.
- Provide on-the -job coaching highlighting the importance of producing high quality work.
- Identify Hold points in projects and arrange appropriate inspections.
- Attend to all defects as soon as possible after completion of the work.
- Advise office of any quality issues with materials that have been delivered to site.
- Be available to travel away for work when required.
- Demonstration of relevant industry experience, trade background or Tertiary qualification.
- Through understanding of site work procedures and safety codes
- Strong skills acquired from on-the-job projects experience.
- Previous experience using machinery, power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to think on your feet and seek timely alternatives for project delivery interruptions.
- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
- Expert organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- Working knowledge and understanding of Australian Building industry.
Salary will be negotiable in accordance with experience.
Salary: From $80,000.00 per year
