Oversee the implementation of all site safety and ensure all procedures are monitored according to the Project Safety Management Plan

  • Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each other.
  • Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all cases.
  • Working individually or in a team.
  • Working alongside the trades and on the tools.
  • Ensuring projects are completed as accurately and efficiently as possible.
  • Supervision of onsite employees to ensure all tasks are completed in a safe, ethical, prompt and high-quality manner.
  • Provide on-the -job coaching highlighting the importance of producing high quality work.
  • Identify Hold points in projects and arrange appropriate inspections.
  • Attend to all defects as soon as possible after completion of the work.
  • Advise office of any quality issues with materials that have been delivered to site.
  • Be available to travel away for work when required.
  • Demonstration of relevant industry experience, trade background or Tertiary qualification.
  • Through understanding of site work procedures and safety codes
  • Strong skills acquired from on-the-job projects experience.
  • Previous experience using machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to think on your feet and seek timely alternatives for project delivery interruptions.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
  • Expert organizational skills and superior attention to detail
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Australian Building industry.

Salary will be negotiable in accordance with experience.

Salary: From $80,000.00 per year
