The Deputy Chief of Staff serves as a key partner to the Chief of Staff (CoS) and the CEO in advancing critical priorities to maximize the company's mission and vision.

What does the job involve

  • Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the CEO's office
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, scheduling and prioritizing appointments effectively
  • Build and manage the CEO's meeting agendas, incorporating relevant research
  • Conduct research on meeting participants and organizations to ensure preparedness for the CEO
  • Oversee automation of key functions to optimize CEO's workflow
  • Prepare compelling presentations for the CEO for both internal and external audiences
  • Draft and edit documents that align with the CEO's communication style
  • Collaborate in the creation of impactful presentations for the CEO
  • Organize and maintain reports, documents, and other essential records pertinent to the CEO
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff and CEO to understand, review, and support the company’s strategic goals and priorities as they fit with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Identify and prioritize key initiatives and opportunities, and develop work plans to drive their successful execution, in part by ensuring effective team alignment, buy-in, and ownership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar support role, ideally first with a background in a top management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Dalberg, Oliver Wyman) then an executive office.
  • Demonstrated humility and a collaborative approach in previous roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tasks with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Comfort with office automation tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • A go-getter with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative to address challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
