Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The Host/Host will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them accordingly
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism
- Utilize POS systems
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and entryway
- Support servers and other staff as needed
Experience:
- Prior experience in guest relations or hospitality preferred
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling reservations
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and provide excellent guest services
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and help create a positive dining experience for guests
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles is beneficial
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
