Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage the execution of all ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Conduct monthly project review meetings with clients to discuss progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contract Management:

  • Review contracts to ensure all terms are met and manage any necessary amendments or negotiations.

  • Conduct project risk reviews and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Handle variation negotiations and dispute resolutions to ensure successful project close-out.
  • Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for all ongoing projects.

  • Oversee internal monthly P&L reporting to track financial performance and project profitability.
  • Ensure cost control measures are in place and adhered to across all projects.

4. Project Review and Client Meetings:

  • Conduct monthly project review meetings with clients to discuss progress, address any issues, and ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

5. Contract Review and Risk Management:

  • Perform thorough contract reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential negative impacts.
  • Ensure proactive management of project risks and issues.

6. Variation Negotiation and Dispute Resolution:

  • Manage variation negotiations with clients, ensuring fair and beneficial outcomes for both parties.
  • Handle dispute resolution processes, addressing conflicts and finding amicable solutions to ensure successful project close-out.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all negotiations and resolutions for future reference.
  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor project teams to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and company standards.
  • Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of extensive experience in operations management within the contracting and construction industry.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, including malls and residential developments.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, project risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent financial management skills, including budget preparation and P&L reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
