    The Role
    As Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data processing systems and pipelines optimized for scaling and compliance. You will utilize significant amounts of data in this role and translate them into insightful information.
    Main Responsibilities
  • Build a reliable and compliant system to ensure we capture, transform, store, and deliver data with the highest quality and integrity.
  • Build scalable and reliable systems and analytical solutions for delivering business insights from different data sources across the division.
  • Be a trusted technical advisor to the team and the entire division.
  • Advocate for writing quality and testable code.
  • Promote the DevOps culture across the team (CI, monitoring, alerting, etc).
    Minimum Qualifications
  • Very strong experience with Databases and Data Warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Solid experience working with ETL/ELT and reporting tools.
  • Successful track record securing Data Warehouses in a cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning.
  • Experience writing maintainable software.
  • Proficient in both speaking and writing English.
    Strong Pluses
  • Familiarity with database schema versioning (especially Liquibase).
  • Knowledge in columnar databases (especially Snowflake).
  • Experience with Containerization (especially Docker and Kubernetes).
