Performs all print finishing operations (e.g. stapling, saddle-stitching, binding, punching, lamination, book binding and form glueing).
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Wraps and prepares all printed materials for delivery.
Operates paper cutting machine, folding machine, lamination machine, punching machine, stapling machine, and book binding machine. Makes format gluing.
Performs routine maintenance and area clean up to maintain a safe working environment.
Works with the Manager of Reprographics to maintain an effective work schedule in accordance with Hospital Priorities.
Assists with establishment of production priorities. Maintains all production records as required by the department.
Performs any other related duties as assigned.
Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.
Follows all Hospital elated policies and procedures.
Education:
Associate Degree/ Diploma in Print Finishing, Offset Printing, or any related discipline, or High School education plus certificate in print finishing or offset printing required.
Experience Required:
One (1) year of related experience with Associate Degree/Diploma or three (3) years with High School in Print Finishing is required.
