FIP Engineering unit handles the technical solutions of financial interfaces, that feed the main reporting streams (financial, management accounting, liquidity and credit risk).

FIP Engineering unit is organized in 4 teams in charge of the projects according to their functional perimeters:

  • FIP Engineering Capital Markets & Securities
  • FIP Engineering Deposits & Payments
  • FIP Engineering Financing Solutions
  • FIP Engineering Transversal Projects & Support

The main interlocutors for the job are all FIP Engineering teams and Managers, FIP Organization Office and New Finance and Fresh teams in Lisbon or in other locations

The trainee is highly coached during his internship. The trainee’s job is always review and validated by a senior team member.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Collaborate on a daily basis with team members and head of FIP Engineering Transversal Projects & Support
  • Execute tasks to facilitate the organization and the presentation of transversal missions within FIP Engineering unit
  • Execute framing tasks, as pre studies, of transversal projects, especially those launched in context of remediation plans on existing set up of accounting interfaces
  • Support FIP Engineering Team Leaders on administrative tasks, especially budget consolidation on a monthly basis, in the tool used to monitor the budget of the team and in Clarity tool as well
  • Support new comers’s on boarding with FIP Engineering Team Leaders, especially to help them by obtaining their accesses
  • Launch non regression test files
  • Launch test files upon project and production requests
  • Control and analyse test results - simple coherence cases
  • Extract rules from Retrodoc tool
  • Perform the Purge of team codes in MVS
  • Creation of new tables and contact with Spitab team
  • Coordinate the actions within the team
  • Prepare reports for operational committees
  • Organize project folders in order to standardize the presentation across team and facilitate new comers’ on boarding
  • Organize existing training documentation as a library on the shared folder and enrich Sharepoint database (with supervision)
  • Create training documentation in collaboration with FIP Engineering team members, if possible by using digital tools (DOT)
  • Translate documents from French to English (if possible)
  • Update of Static Data database
  • To execute minutes and executive summary of meetings and workshops
  • Interview team members to identify and collect the regular tasks that could be automated by developing tools
  • Participate to the design of solutions to automate processes or parts of processes
  • Document the new tool to facilitate the change management within the team
  • Participate to training sessions within the team as trainer

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Training and occupational experience
  • Training course of Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Accounting / Finance
  • Essential specific requirements
  • Proficient on Excel, Powerpoint
  • Curiosity
  • Adaptability
  • Communication and coordination skills (oral & written)
  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 Level)
  • Knowledge of French is a plus

About the Team

Within the department “Chief Operating Office - One Finance Model Implementation” of Finance function, in charge of the implementation of an harmonized Finance Operating Model across the BNPP Group, the “Finance Implementation Projects Engineering” (FIP Engineering) unit is a part of the “Finance Implementation Projects” (FIP) unit.

In a close and strong collaboration with FIP unit, FIP Engineering unit operates in order to:

  • ensure the projects of the roll-out of the One Financial System (OFS), in line with the global strategy of the Finance function;
  • design, develop and implement the financial interfaces between the operating systems of Businesses and the Finance systems;
  • ensure the implementation of the remediation plans applicable to financial interfaces.
