The role of campaign marketing manager is to direct the design and development of Accenture marketing activities in Portugal, targeted to primarily client and external audiences. The individual will design programs aligned to the business strategy of our practice and collaborate with the marketing teams in the market units (including external agencies and contractors) to execute targeted programs/campaigns. He/ she will also provide strategic counsel to entity leadership and track program execution including metrics and measurement.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute local, multichannel, integrated marketing strategies and plans to support Accenture business in Portugal;
  • Be the steward of the client experience that was defined as part of Integrated planning process;
  • Oversee and manage the design and execution of marketing campaigns ensuring we are employing the right channel mix for an optimal client experience. This can include advertising, internal communications, recruiting marketing, events & sponsorships, web content management, social media, among others;
  • Provide strategic counsel to campaign owners ensuring all marketing professionals understand how Campaign Management will serve as a partner in delivering the optimal client experience;
  • Work closely with Project Management teams to project manage all aspects of a campaign from planning, development and execution, resolving campaign issues to ensure they deliver on the campaign plan and meet or exceed SLAs;
  • Track and analyze program execution to ensure we are meeting and exceeding campaign objectives as well as constantly learning and optimizing our processes and future campaigns;
  • Collaborate across Business/CG/Geo dimensions to resolve campaign conflicts, escalating unresolvable conflicts to Campaign Management Lead;
  • Collaborate with the industry account-based marketers, as well as the Client Group marketers in priority geographies to localize global industry marketing campaigns;
  • Identify and manage marketing services resources and third-party service providers e.g., agencies, designers, etc.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Education: Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred;
  • High level of English.
    Skills and Work Experience
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in marketing, business development and/or marketing communications roles;
  • Strong and deep overall business acumen and good knowledge of Accenture’s area of business and overall business strategy;
  • Broad marketing skill set and proficiency in marketing data management and campaign reporting;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to operate and build relationships at very senior level within a large, matrixed organization;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, proven track record managing a team, and real collaborative and team-player attitude;
  • Excellent project management skills and evidence of successfully managing complex portfolio of projects in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Creativity, flair and innovation in how to achieve cut-through and differentiation for campaigns;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to present and convey ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to both internal and external audiences;
  • Enthusiasm, passion for marketing and can-do attitude;
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
