Our client in the Motor Industry has an opportunity available for a Legal Officer in the Pinetown, KZN area.
Requirements:
- 4 year Law Degree
- Must be an admitted attorney
- At least 2 years’ experience in the field of Labour Law AND knowledge specifically with regards to Bargaining Councils and collective agreements
- Sound knowledge or and experience of the dispute resolution
- Knowledge of the civil procedure essential
- In possession of a current valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy (Word & Excel)
KPAs:
- Manage claims instituted against an establishment as a result of legal action
- Manages quality control of legal activities in a region
- Liaise and communicate with external legal service providers
- Referring unpaid Settlement Agreement as per Section 142 process / negotiating and finalizing administrative
- Compile legal recommendation for Regional Council Board meetings
