Local Delivery Organization - PM Stream Manager

  • Cloud & Network Services - Marked Services Europe is serving 50+ customers across Europe and executes more than 600 projects.
  • The LDO PM Stream manager plans and develops a highly skilled and well-trained team of a team of more than 100 Project Management Professionals located across Europe to support the customer project in CNS MS Europe
  • By closely monitoring the projects under execution, market trends and product strategies she / he is securing a state-of-the-art competence level and cost competitive solution approach.

Note: this role may be also located in other Nokia Branch locations across Europe

What you will learn and contribute to

  • High quality, cost efficient and continuous demand fulfillment based on MU demand planning
  • Solution competence for project management set-up in CNS projects in close interaction with all LDO streams
  • Competence development of resources assigned to PM pool and support of competence development of resources assigned to other MS Europe organizational units regarding project management related skills.
  • Drive development and implementation of appropriate Nokia Project Management methodology, processes, tools, improvement programs and efficiency programs to ensure all customer and internal projects are delivered according to contractual obligations, within forecasted costs, time and required quality based on adequate mode of operation.
  • Contribute / defines strategy for her / his area of responsibility and turns it into operational programs and actions.
  • Drivesgovernance practices in line with adequate Nokia project management (PM) and according to BG specificities to ensure visibility of operational KPIs and performance / efficiency.
  • Support BG Delivery Manager and their teams during pre-sales and delivery phases by implementing adequate practices like project ramp up best practice, quality gate reviews and PM audits.
  • Drive continuous appropriate Nokia project management processes and tools improvement by collecting requirements including applicable loop back to global process / tool owner.
  • Ensure availability of project / program executive level information to BG Delivery Manager and their teams and appropriate geographical organization by establishing / using reporting solutions.
  • Create and implements proactive cost management practice supported by engagement into operational reviews, action planning and follow-up.
  • Support / coordinates resource demand activities inside customer team, ensuring proper forecast and information availability.
  • Drive development of PM capability management with appropriate external and internal certification portfolio.
  • Support PM community in capability and competence management activities including planning and implementation of PM capability framework.
  • Act as a coach for PM community based on priorities to ensure that objectives of the project are achieved.
  • Drives PM knowledge management and best practice / lessons learned sharing within PM community.

Your skills and experience
You have:

  • 10+ years experience in Telco/IT industry
  • 5+ years experience on security (threats, governance, architectures, products, customer assurance, regulations)
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant European laws
  • Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills
  • Strong customer orientation; team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

It would be nice if you also had:

  • PMI certified or equivalent is highly desirable
