Role Overview:
The Payroll & HR Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the end-to-end cycle for payroll and will also provide support to the end-to-end process for HR administration through the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll and Benefits:

  • Ensure the end-to-end payroll process using SAGE or any other programme, implemented by the company, ensuring 100% accuracy, and processing all the different elements as required (e.g., overtime, on-call, etc.).
  • Act has a deputy for the payroll cycle
  • Liaison with local authorities e.g., AT and Social Security.
  • Continuously improve HR service delivery by identifying challenges and recommending opportunities for improvements.
  • Ensure that the legal obligations e.g., the insurance against accidents at work, social security and other are delivery in an efficient form.
  • When need it, providing support to the Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist in terms of the benefits scheme in place in Porto.
  • Administrative support for the annual bonus and pay review process.

Administration/HR Operations:

  • Partner with the HR Operations team to ensure the delivery of an efficient, professional, best in class service for all employees.
  • Support the end-to-end process for HR administration through the employee life cycle. This might include onboarding new joiners, elaborating employment contracts, letters, and support through the offboarding process.
  • Provide support and guidance on standard HR policies and procedures, to employee on matters such as annual leave, absences, and other topics.
  • Use the reporting functionality within HR Systems to produce HR and legal reports.
  • Support general HR projects as-and-when required.
