THE ROLE
We are looking for a person who will lead a versatile team of engineers working towards our goals. You will work in a very relaxed environment and be part of a well-motivated, growing team. If you want to evolve, if you are willing to share knowledge and to be part of the building process to reach the top, using the latest technology stack and having fun doing it, this is an opportunity you can't miss.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will lead a versatile team of engineers with different types of backgrounds (backend developers and QAs);
- Set goals and development targets for the Engineers within managed team and support the team with feedback and development plans as they progress;
- Engage with the team Product Manager into building a backlog that contributes to the development of the roadmap;
- Contribute to the hiring and development of engineers within managed team;
- Assure the collaboration of managed team across different engineering teams/offices and adherence to the defined global engineering best practices.
WHO YOU ARE
- A graduate of a program in Information Systems or a related field;
- A professional with solid technical background leading for a minimum of 1 year versatile engineering teams towards goal achievement;
- Knowledgeable and experienced in Product/Software development, with understanding of all different phases, from the beginning all the way through implementation and continuous improvement, experienced working in Agile environments;
- A person capable to act as a technical reference and promoter for using the newest technologies (.Net, Kafka, MongoDB, SQL Server, Cassandra) and methodologies within the managed team;
- Someone with Continuous Integration/Delivery mindset;
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
