Head Sports Coach

Get Set Go Kids is a multi-skills sports club committed to providing professional physical education and sports coaching for 3-8 year olds.

As a company we aim to provide the highest quality physical literacy programs in the form of after school clubs, weekend clubs, curriculum cover and holiday camps.

We are now recruiting outstanding teachers / coaches, with a passion for getting kids moving, to lead and assist in delivery and development of our programs in Dubai and the UAE.

Role responsibilities:

• Delivery of high quality, innovative, age and ability appropriate coaching sessions in line with program syllabus
• Oversee management and coordination of all aspects of Get Set Go Kids programs at allocated venues, including sessions, camps, and events.
• Assist with the development, training and assessment of casual coaching staff
• Contribute to the continuing development and enhancement of an innovative, age appropriate curriculum and maintain status as market leaders.

• Prepare and submit appropriate performance and financial reports, and contribute to weekly team meetings.

  Qualifications:

• Professional coaching or teaching certificate

• Safeguarding Children
• Emergency First Aid Qualification
• Appropriate background checks
  Experience
• Planning and delivering high quality PE / coaching sessions
• Experience of working with primary aged children in either a sports coaching or teaching environment
• Working within school environments
• Working as part of a dynamic team
  Knowledge
• Awareness of EYFS Framework
• Ability to connect, inspire and develop primary aged children using a range of teaching styles
• Understanding of physical literacy
  Competencies
• Basic competence in MS Office, including management of databases
• Competent in the use of social media platforms
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  Leadership
• Able to manage a small team of coaches at respective venues
• Ability to manage enquiries / issues onsite from parents / players / coaches
• Ability to motivate others to meet / exceed expectations
• Acts as a role model with behaviour consistent with the vision of the company and its philosophy
