Role Summary
- Reporting to the National Sales Manager EMT, the Senior Sales Administration Supervisor ensures that the Sales team is provided with the latest data with regards to lead times, pricing and configuration of EMT equipment and that customers are provided with an efficient, professional, prompt and accurate sales administration service.

Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas

  • Manages the Sales Administration Department
  • Monitors and ensures sales enquiries and tenders are responded to correctly and promptly in order to maintain customer service satisfaction
  • Is the link between the company factories, the Sales and Central Administration teams with regards to machine availability, pricing and configurations.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and directives.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to sales inquiries and redirects to team members for processing
  • Has a hands on approach and actively participates structuring of offers for the sales department.
  • Supports all sales efforts by guiding and administering sales administration operations
  • Resolves internal and external sales queries
  • Ensures quotations and orders are processed promptly
  • Ensures a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Liaises between the sales department and company factories with regards to configurations, lead times and pricing
  • Prepares and updates earthmoving, relevant mining and construction equipment configurations
  • Liaises with company factories with regards to equipment specifications and machine availability
  • Arranges for the ordering of machines based on the analyzed demand and ensures accurate stock control of equipment
  • Maintains pricing files and cost sheets for internal and external use
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of company earthmoving, construction and industrial equipment
  • Ensures completed tender documents are submitted timeously, in the correct format and with the required supporting documents
  • Ensures Compliance with legislative, regulatory and authority requirements
  • Implements company policies, procedures, guidelines and directive
  • Gives monthly feedback reports on sales results (ROI)
  • Implements company policies, procedures, guidelines and directives
  • Complies with legislative, regulatory and authority requirements
  • Is conversant and compliant with Company Policies and Procedures e.g. Environment, Safety, Drug and Alcohol Policies, OHS Management System and Emergency Plan, together with the Sales Guidebook, and ensures staff

Inherent Requirements

Diploma

Strong Administration skills

Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service, sales, project management and / or office management. Extensive product knowledge of company earthmoving equipment
