Our team provide technical expertise to meet our client expectation in electrical submersible pumps with Artificial Lift requirement. In this role, you will supervise and oversee the installation and pulling of complex ESP Systems at offshore and onshore locations. You will be the on-site representative and attend pre-job customer planning meetings to ensure preparation and successful completion of work. You will lead a team, providing an flawless service to our customers.
As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing the installation and pulling of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems for onshore and offshore oil and water wells
- Performing the set-up and start-ups of Centrilift Motor Controllers and VSDs to ensure reliability and performance
- Troubleshooting surface and down-hole ESP equipment to monitor production, maximize well productivity, and improve run life
- Supervising and overseeing the installation/pulling of (complex) ESP Systems, and associated equipment in offshore and onshore locations.
- Providing expertise and consultancy to the customer for work completed and in process
- Keeping accurate records of all work performed to ensure documentation is updated
- Leading a team, attending pre job planning meetings, preparing for and supervising the technical service.
- Acting as the on site Centrilift representative for communication with customers and account managers
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Diploma/Technical Degree
- Have solid experience as an Artificial Lift Field Specialist
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as Field specialist
- Be a good team player and show the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Display a customer-focused mindset with the ability to build relationships
- Demonstrate the ability to be proactive, flexible and a self starter
- Have good attention to detail with good analytical and problem solving skills
