Your contribution to something big:
With this internship you will be able to understand state-of-the-art methods of releasing mobile apps to stores, since the development activities are ready until deployment activities in the App store and create a release concept on how to release internal Thermotecnology Apps. You will be part of a talented, motivated and cross-functional team that takes very seriously the continuous improvement of collaborators where you, in cooperation with the team, will be able to:
- Study state-of-the-art methods to deal with mobile app releases
- Select the most suitable ones for TT context and make a PoC (Proof of Concept) with most suitable methods (2 or 3) with 1 product
- Automate as much as possible that method
- Generate documentation that can be shared among all software teams in order to increase knowledge sharing
- Work with team located in Aveiro, Deventer (The Netherlands) and Wernau (Germany)
- Know quality processes in software development (focus in Aveiro)
- Identify improvements for automated software integration, delivery and deployment.
Qualifications:
What distinguishes you:
- Academic background in Information Technologies, Computer Science or similar
- Willingness to learn and attention to detail
- True team player with proactive and dynamic attitude
- Database modelling knowledge (UML), version control (e.g. Git)
- Knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g. Java)
- Curious about continuous integration, delivery and deployment practices (e.g. Jenkins)
- Data analysis and APIs handling knowledge
- Knowledge in English (written and spoken).
