Junior DevOps Engineer - Azure, AWS, DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform, Source Control
I’m currently working on behalf of a major fin-tech disruptor who are looking to take on a new junior/mid-level DevOps engineer. Their product is rapidly pushing them to become No 1 in the market and their hosted solution is built entirely within Azure.
This role suits someone with a passion for DevOps and will give you an amazing amount of exposure as well as getting the opportunity to gain a certification within Azure
Requirements:
- Experience with configuration management tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience managing microservices (scaling, upgrading, traffic management, deployment strategies)
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices and development methodologies
- Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to explain day to day technical concepts to a range of audiences, technical and non-technical
- Good appreciation of information security principles commonly applied to securing data in the cloud
- A good understanding of networking concepts and devices (virtual networks, VPNs, proxies, firewalls)
- Experience with at least one major cloud hosting platform (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with general Linux administration
- Experience with scripting or automation i.e. Bash, Python
