Job Requirements:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the injection moulding process, machines, robotics, etc.
- Ensures required process development information accompanies new tooling.
- Interpret processes received and set up new processes to optimize production
- Records and maintains mould and process setup sheets.
- Improves and documents processes on existing moulds, using established systematic techniques.
- Assists in trouble shooting production processes
- Conducts cycle improvement and monitors production cycle times
- Assists with investigations of reject product and the development of corrective actions knowledge of TS 16949 standards, SPC, TQM and GMP’s
- Manage tool changes and start machine start-ups
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and manufacturing personnel
- Ability to manage tool change and quick start up
