Our client in the consumer electronic and manufacturing industry is looking for an EHS & Training officer that will be in charge of establishing, maintaining and improving a safe working environment for all personnel and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, report and work to the goals set in weekly and monthly supply chain related KPIs
Develop, and delivery of training procedures and monitor outcomes
EHS related risk management procedures delivery
Follow and acceptance of EHS corrective actions across the operations
Management of incidents / accidents investigations and implementations of corrective actions
Drive effective and efficient waste management systems and procedures across the operations
Competence assessment / matrix development and management
Development and delivery of operational training requirements for all functions within the organization
Assessment of individuals' typical behaviors in delivery of procedures to qualify training procedures effectiveness
Enterprise skills development facilitation
Regulatory reporting and Compliance requirements delivery for both EHS and training
Working with other departments to harmonize EHS and training related objectives and related IMS procedures
Support employee surveys and actions for improved work environment
Support ISO, customer, and other related audit procedures
Requirements:
University degree with a minimum of BA in EHS &/or training related area
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a EHS &/or training officer role in manufacturing operations
Experienced in delivering EHS legal compliance
Experienced in delivery of training compliance
Experience on ISO 140001 and ISO450001
Senior first aid and emergency response qualifications a merit
