Your responsibilities as a Backend Solutions Architect will be:

  • You’ll work closely with the other team members to find the most appropriate state-of-the-art solutions, define the best suited software stack and parameterization, define interfaces, guarantee availability of computational/network resources for computer vision processing and machine learning, specify and conduct algorithm test procedures in simulated and real test environments.
  • It is expected you show your curious mindset, searching for solutions for real-life problems being in close contact with the users for your solutions. Use your overview over the entire system to interface with relevant stakeholders, integrate the team that searches for unattended user needs and ignite solution-oriented discussions.
    It is expected that you will collaborate closely with academic institutions acting as technical senior interface with research partners.
  • Understanding of IoT systems topology from the edge to the cloud is highly valued.

Qualifications:
What distinguishes you:

  • MSc in Computer Science, SW Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • More than 5 years of experience in backend development mainly in Java Spring
  • Experience working with containers (kubernetes, docker)
  • Previous working experience with cloud architectures is highly valued
  • Solid understanding of IoT architectures, network topologies and principles
  • Previous contact with Python and JavaScript is valued
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Very good English communication abilities

  • Knowledge on system modeling using UML
