Sourcing and Procurement Specialist

The Sourcing and Procurement specialist handles daily procurement operations in the company including but not limited to negotiating pricing, contractual agreements, budgeting, expediting orders, updating purchasing tools, providing purchasing training, researching new products and/or services. This person should use procurement industry best practices, internal rules, and processes; and have good data analytic skills to help w/ consolidation and create reporting data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external key IT stakeholders;
  • Negotiate and develop contracts within area of responsibility;
  • Act as an escalation point for contractual and performance issues;
  • Provide commercial advice to business areas as required;
  • Promote and ensure compliance with procurement processes and approvals flows;
  • Handle global and local IT suppliers (performance, change requests, SOWs, risk & compliance management etc.);
  • Support KPIs and SLAs with suppliers during the contracting process in accordance to service requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with the Global Procurement Policy across categories of spend;
  • Consolidation and analysis of the global procurement spend.
    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Post-graduate and/or Master’s in engineering, business administration, finance, purchasing related;

  • Min 4 years’ experience in procurement sourcing (preference for projects and hardware, software and services);
  • Experience with contracts negotiations and contract creation;
  • Experience with global business (IT environment is plus);
  • Experience in Procurement processes, Systems & Compliance Management;
  • Experience in Project management;
  • Experience in sourcing data management, analysis, presentations and reporting;
  • Fluency in English is a must, other European languages are a plus;
  • Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work in a cross functional international complex corporate environment;
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with a customer-oriented profile;
  • Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and solve problems.
